Family Assistance Program Announcement
We are proud to launch the SATB2 Gene Foundation's Family Assistance Program (FAP) as part of our mission and ongoing commitment to supporting our families.
The SATB2 Gene Foundation has designated up to $20,000 for the FAP to help improve and enrich the lives of SAS individuals. Families who apply and are approved for assistance will receive up to $2,500 to help them pay for items such as durable medical goods, communication equipment, adaptive play items, and more.
This award is open to US and international families.

This past August 22nd we celebrated our 4th annual SATB2-associated syndrome Awareness Day. Our international community came together to help raise important awareness within each of their communities about SAS. You each answered the call to #ShowYourSAS, wear purple, tell more friends and doctors about SAS, and help us educate all about the importance of advancing SAS research! All funds donated during the month of August went directly to support SAS research! Collectively we raised $42,485! A record-breaking year for our Awareness Day and research efforts! Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued enthusiasm this past year and for helping us grow. We are grateful to each of you.
